( mafuyu stares in complete and utter bafflement. what... the actual fuck is he even talking about? working where- what information team? she just wants her rabbit back-
wait.
where's deadrabbit?
this is so confusing. she wants to take a nap but she can't get back into her cabin, this is the actual worst. )
I still have no idea what you're talking about. But sure. Alright. ( said in the tone of a tired 17 year old who has not had a moment's rest. tomorrow she's not leaving the cabin at all. she'll stock up on snacks if needed before curfew. ) Please assume we aren't from the same universe when you're trying to explain things. Because we aren't.
[What a fascinating way to make an A.I.'s systems glitch out while he's trying to compute what the fuck she just said.
?????????
Unfortunately, Yesod isn't too great at facial emotions, so what she really gets is a brief flash of what appears to be confusion, but is more like him narrowing his eyes and crossing his arms and looking vaguely grumpy to anyone who might be walking by and has no context for the conversation.]
All... "park guests" seem to be from different worlds. I've seen people capable of things that are outright fantasy since my first day here- ( though it does seem as if things have weakened since? and part of her wonders if that's why merlin isn't here. ) -and casual references to things that should be common knowledge won't add up.
Such as your talk of a facility or abnormalities- I've no idea what you're even referring to.
The Abnormality must be bringing others in from other dimensions. [YESOD—] Let me try to explain it to you the same way I explained it to X.
[Hm... hm. Okay. You know, sometimes it's easier to ask Angela to do these things, but he can't get in touch with her, so... Here goes nothing.]
I believe this is an undiscovered ALEPH-class Abnormality. That's the highest classification we know of, and the most dangerous. "The Facility" is that of the Lobotomy Corporation, which serves to work with these Abnormalities and generate energy from them with the goal of generating a Seed of Light.
[I'm so used to Elsword i wrote SEED OF LIFE instead, Yesod does not work for Henir's Order]
( mafuyu listens attentively, at least. that's one thing she's always been good at. it's like... dealing with a particularly frustrating teacher, or something. right?
...
fuck if she knows, honestly. )
What is an abnormality? ( without the capitalization, even... ) But otherwise... I think so? Is a Seed of Light like a power source?
[If he had the ability to have a headache, he might have one. The headache is an emotional one, perhaps.]
It's a complicated project that children don't need to know about, [he replies, coldly, to that last bit. Listen, "Information Team" doesn't mean he has to say that. Withholding information for sanity's sake is literally part of the job description.] It's supposed to fix the chaos in the City, in simple terms. Abnormalities, however, are simultaneously easier and harder to explain.
[How would a normal person explain these things to a kid? Hm.]
Think of them as monsters with certain abilities such as impersonating others, becoming one with someone, compelling humans to kill themselves... et cetera.
[He looks off into the distance, and he still hasn't registered that Deadrabbit fucked off.]
Some of them existed natively in the world. Some of them... [were created by the Corporation, but, uh... he probably shouldn't say that. He course-corrects instead,] ...all of them are dangerous.
( if she were to hazard a guess, there's likely not a lot of life outside of the city he speaks of- enough so that it doesn't need a name beyond the city because it's the only one.
how... sad.
she doesn't seem to take much offense at the shutdown, though a part of her does wonder why he brought it up then, but... monsters, hm.
she'll just sit on the fact that deadrabbit talks to her sometimes for a bit. there's something more important- )
There are monsters here. I was taken by them at the start of the month. ... I don't remember what happened after I was returned.
( mafuyu nods, and keeps a soft tone throughout the explanation- anything louder than almost a whisper sounds raspy. )
When I first arrived here in August, most of us were trying to explore to get our bearings and hopefully find a way out. The mist is impassable, so a boy and I had tried to search one of the rides- It'z Quite the Large World. At some point- about halfway through it, the sound will cut out and instead of the usual dancing and singing, the animatronics will just stand there... and it looks as if they're asking for help, instead.
The first time I experienced this, I used my phone's flashlight to look into the water- to see if there was anything in it, if it was safe to try and traverse. I saw... what looked like hands crawling up the side of the boat, though they vanished once I shined light on them. I didn't want to go back in there once we were out- and... it feels as if you're in there for much longer than you're supposed to be.
( she pauses, because ow. talking. and... to brace herself. she doesn't seem to realize how her arms wrap around herself. )
At the start of the month, I began doubting what I saw, so I went to investigate on my own- I... don't know what happened to that boy, but not everyone who'd shown up when I did is still here. The sound and everything cut out again, just like last time, so... when I started to feel scared, I sang to myself. Music is something comforting to me. And when I sang... the animatronics were listening. When I had to stop, they started parroting the song back at me while shaking... and the things in the water started to shake the boat.
... The last thing I remember is my voice giving out, and waking up in the lake three days later.
Some advice for you, then. Don't sing to random Abnormalities. [There are so many song-related Abnormalities it's not even funny. Why have you people not learnt to not sing to the scary things?!] It sounds as though whatever you did soothed them for the moment, but when you stopped, it agitated them further — thus, they decided to kidnap you.
When you woke, were you missing anything other than your memory? Anything you entered with such as a flashlight, phone, or even trinkets such as jewellery or money?
( it says something about the situation that mafuyu's getting borderline snippy with adults. even adults who seem to keep forgetting she's not from his world, but she'll ignore that for now since this is all new information for him. at his continued questioning, she closes her eyes and inhales softly before answering. )
Nothing that I recall, but there are three... pinpricks, almost. On the back of my neck. I don't know what they did.
( she even turns around and moves her hair out of the way, swiping it over her shoulder properly.
yesod will find three little pinprick scabs in the shape of a triangle on the back of her neck, but little else. she's taken great care not to agitate things further, at least. )

Mafuyu can find Deadrabbit waiting for her in her cabin, covered in pencil shavings.

Still, though, some degree of kindness slips into his voice at the mention of the pinpricks on her neck. Sympathy or some such.]
Can I give it a look? You might be injured, or marked somehow.

I see. Well, the good news is that they don't appear to be infected. ...I'm going to touch the back of your neck to assess something.
[Really, he's looking to see if he can feel something trapped beneath her skin or not. Poke, poke...]

( thankfully, that does not seem to be the case! it's just three, tiny little pinpricks... forming a triangle. nothing ominous here, certainly. )

I don't feel anything underneath your skin. The placement of the injury is weird, but it doesn't seem like anything was implanted in you.
