[ Floyd, for all intents and purposes, is perfectly fine with water. He grew up in it for Pete's sake! But this water was not familiar in the least. He may not be in his merform, but his senses are still sharp as he tries to look around in the dark. A giant eye stares back at him.
Okay, yeah, maybe he shouldn't try to fight this one yet. Besides, he's got his piddly human lungs that only breathe oxygen right now- it's best to get to the surface.
Taking off like a shot, powerful limbs pull him up onto land and he comes across... an amusement park? Huh. Crazier places he could've showed up at. But now it's time to investigate.
So if you happen to come across this 6'2" sopping wet teenager, feel free to say hi! If not, he'll probably come up to you anyways and ask you questions like- ]
Oi, d'you know what this place is? Looks fun~!

[ Now that Floyd is a little more dry from walking around, what better time than to check out some of the games and rides?
You might catch him on the TwiZter, hands in the air as he whoops in glee! You may even see him at Test Your Strength, large mallet in hand before he goes in for the swing.
Perhaps he takes a seat next to you on Rain Dropz! No matter where he is, he seems to be in a pretty decent mood. ]
c. pumpkin bash
Hehe, this reminds me of carving pumpkins back at school for Halloween~.
[ Floyd smiles as he twirls the carving knife in his hand a bit before beginning to cut into the pumpkin. He doesn't have any design drawn on it or anything- he's just going to town and following his heart.
That being said, he doesn't have a candle picked out or anything yet- he's saving that for after the creative process. ]
You ever carve pumpkins before this?

[ Got any cool ideas? Feel free to plop them here~! Or if you'd like to plot, you can hit me up on Plurk at sillygourd! ]
[ Kanade is obviously struggling with carving herself, staring at her pumpkin. While she may be dexterous with her hands, art such as this is definitely not her forte. ]
Not really. I know Halloween's gotten a bit more well known in Japan recently, but... I've never really participated in it.
[ After all, she was a shut-in. And even during the years she wasn't, the holiday was more about cosplay and parties. Things that Kanade wasn't necessarily good with. ]
[ So does he, in a manner of speaking! Though, now that he thinks about it, maybe Yuu did mention a Japan of some sorts in their world- maybe they're both from the same place. ]
Hehe, true, true! Halloween's pretty big in Twisted Wonderland. My school goes all out and it's one of the only times we open the gates for the locals. It's pretty fun~.
The pumpkin thing? Sometimes we do, yeah! Kinda varies dependin' where you're from. This is my second year carving pumpkins! We don't have 'em in the Coral Sea, so our celebrations are a little different.
Oh, well, maybe "celebrate" ain't the right word for it. We get a lot of ghosts out at sea because of sailors and their intense regrets due to, y'know, the ocean bein' how it is, so it's a bit different. As merfolk, we set out bioluminescent lanterns like guide posts to stop from wandering into the spirit realm. We also play music so the spirits aren't lonely or sad as much.

Do you do things like this?

[ There's a lot to take in here, but Kanade is a person of very few words. Which shows in how she replies in this very moment.
Oh, but he did mention something that she can latch onto - ]
What kind of music did you play for the spirits?
