[The good news: turns out manifesting a spirit form is still possible, even with most of Clamor's "real" "body" missing. It doesn't do much to abate the throbbing pain that permeates his existence, but at least he has hands...
Hand. Just one hand, which is firmly and solidly gripped in Noah's, but he'll take what he can get. The other is... not exactly gone, but flickering like a dying light, parting like smoke and glass when he tries to touch anything. Much of his body is the same—broken, missing, strained. He looks like a ghost, dim and faded as he is, but he can be solid if he has to be. As long as it's not too much at once, anyway.
There's no one-to-one between sword parts and body parts, just spiritual essence stretched thin across a form too large and complex to be sustained by its materials. Still, there are some consistencies... namely, that his upper torso keeps separating from the bottom half (really need to find a way to fuse the blade back to the hilt), and his face is uh. Well, his eye is missing, so it's probably not a big deal if his head disappears half the time. He can't see anyway, so how would he know? Don't worry about it.
Anyway, Noah is here to show him around, which is... also kind of pointless if he can't see anything... but he can still say hello!! Please don't freak out or assume Noah is being haunted and needs an exorcism. Clamor is very nice, really.]
[B - Plant Jail for Vegan Crimes]
[You're probably minding your own business, going about the park as normal... when suddenly a ghostly, glowing hand emerges from the nearby hedge, branches clinging to its wrist. The hand waves frantically, or perhaps tries to politely tap your shoulder, whatever works.]
Excuse me! Sorry! If you're not too busy— pthhk! [someone is spitting out leaves from inside the hedge... it's fine, he's fine.] I'm a little, ah, stuck. If you'd be so kind...
[... and the branches already seem to be encroaching on the hand again, trying to pull him back in, so. soon, preferably.]
[C - Plant Jail 2: The Revenge]
[okay, so, imagine prompt B again, but instead of a hand reaching out of the bushes its six inches of a broken golden sword stabbing out of it without warning
pros: a lot easier to escape vicious plants this way! he can just cut right through. cons: you cannot hear his voice trying to warn passersby to stand clear unless you are actively being stabbed by a surprise hedge-knife.
roll for dexterity, he's sorry, good luck]
[D - Wildcard]
((hello friends pls hit me up on the discord or at BlueFlewFedUQueen if you wanna do something else))
[To say that he was taken aback by the voice and the glowing hand was an understatement. Luckily, this was definitely not the strangest thing that Amizeth had seen in his lifetime.]
Ah, hold on —
[He reaches out, taking the hand firmly in his and yanked it back towards him. Perhaps a little more forceful than intended, seeing as he was expecting a full grown man and not… ya know.]
[Clamor is a full grown man!! He's just... missing a couple parts, temporarily.
so anyway Amizeth yanks on the hand and a torso with half a head pops out. please maybe don't look inside the part where the upper half of the head is supposed to be, it's not gory but it still looks weird and he'd feel bad about it...
he's still a bit tangled up, but he clasps his other hand onto Amizeth's now that he's (mostly) free. after coughing up a whole goddamn flower off to the side—]
Ugh, thank you... truly, I had no idea the plants here could be so stubborn. I was starting to get worried I'd be stuck there all night!
( you know, mafuyu's been having a dilly of a day. and she has been, for like, 11 whole days already. but she's gotta be honest, her new friend walking around with a slowly-shifting golden ghost on his shoulder is not what she expected to see today.
...
yesod's gonna flip.
but noah is also... he's reckless and selfless and self-sacrificing, but he's not stupid.
just the other three.
so she's going to not freak out and instead sit up properly and clear her throat a little- even now her throat hurts just a bit. )
He's a little messed up right now, but we're working on it. [noah's working on it.] He doesn't normally look like he's flickering in and out of existence like that.
Clamor, this is Mafuyu! She's the one I told you about. ["Our parents are similar" is what he had said, but Noah's not about to say that in front of her.]
[Hey are you ever just sitting down on a bench thinking to yourself, how the fuck did I get here, where the fuck is this, what the fuck is happening — and then a BUSH throws a KNIFE at you? And it lands in your LEG?
It's very lucky that Yesod is actually a robot, or a sharp, pointy object might've caused some real damage!
He reaches into his leg where there is currently like, 1/4th of Clamor buried in it and, with an irritated grunt, pulls the blade out.]
Where did this come from?
[Still holding the blade, he turns to look into the bush. This fucking place is going to be the death of him.]
Oh! Oh, gods, I am so sorry— I didn't hit you, did I? Are you okay? Aghh, I knew going out like this was a bad idea...!
[he can't cry but he might be crying on the inside... maybe he should've just stayed in the bushes until Noah came looking for him.
speaking of the bushes, his hilt is still partially sticking out of them, what with it not being properly attached to the blade yet. also, the bushes might be trying to reach all the way out to Yesod now, how dare u take away their cool sword.]
Are you bleeding at all? I wouldn't call it my specialty, but I can do a bit of healing magic... it's the least I could do to apologize.
After about a minute and a half, Yesod picks the blade back up before the bushes can grab it again, figuring this is the lesser of the two Abnormalities to deal with. Bushes with knives could hurt someone else, and he spends a moment swatting a particularly bothersome branch away before he notices the hilt just sitting there.
He doesn't reach for it yet.]
My chassis is unharmed. [He waterlogged it on his arrival, so... it can't get much worse.] I don't require your "healing magic", Abnormality. Try not to embed yourself into anyone else.
[ Fortunately (?) for Clamor, the person that he manages to find is a small girl who - while she has some self-awareness of the situation and knows that the more optimal solution would be to perhaps grab someone else who has more strength, that's not keeping in mind that there's limited time here.
...
So, Kanade, in spite of logic, runs towards him and puts her arms out. ]
Can you grab on?
[ At the very least, she can be some sort of leverage. Or so she's hoping. ]
[this would be an easier task if he could see, but grasping around blindly... he catches the edge of her sleeve. a lucky break!]
Yes! I think so! Do you think you could pull me out? If I could even just grab something solid that isn't a tree...
[now, being 1/4 of his normal amount of cool magic sword, Clamor is currently quite light... but Kanade isn't just trying to pull a broken sword from a bush. she is also fighting the bush itself, which is both weirdly strong for a plant and also steadily creeping up Clamor's arm onto her own. can she win this game of tug-o-war? or will she become the next victim...?]
[ "Try" being the key word here. Because Kanade has absolutely no muscles. Which means that she'll get absolutely get pulled in... at least an attempt was made... ]
